About
From the Missouri Woods to the Arizona Desert
Barry Richardson creates one-of-a-kind turnings, sculpture, carvings, furniture and wall pieces that celebrate grain, form, and movement. Using reclaimed local wood whenever possible, each work is shaped with precision and finished by hand - created to live beautifully in your space.
"Woodturning is where precision meets flow. These pieces are shaped on the lathe to highlight natural movement in the grain - simple, clean forms with strong presence."

What I do
01
Turnings & Vessels
Lathe-turned bowls and vessels shaped to follow the grain, often from reclaimed local wood, then hand-finished to a quiet glow - functional forms that hold light, texture, and time.
02
Furniture & Wall Art
One-of-a-kind furniture and wall pieces built for real spaces, balancing clean lines with organic movement - using reclaimed wood whenever possible to bring warmth, shadow, and story into a room.
03
Carvings & Sculpture
Hand-carved sculpture focused on texture and depth, inspired by nature and marine life - revealing the character of the wood through intentional cuts, refined edges, and patient finishing.
"Artistic furniture, sculpture, carving, and turning are my focus areas for design and creation. I use reclaimed local wood whenever possible."
